El libro que tienes en tus manos es entretenido y de lectura fácil. El autor refiere su experiencia de 50 años de profesión como especialista en Cirugía del Aparato Locomotor. Se inicia con datos autobiográficos, familiares y de sus estudios de Medicina, que se interrelacionan con el momento político y social de aquel tiempo; en segundo lugar refiere su experiencia en los diferentes hospitales en los que ha trabajado, contando anécdotas, algunas de las cuales hoy nos parecen increíbles; y finalmente da su punto de vista sobre temas médicos de actualidad como la medicina pública y privada, la medicina alternativa, el concepto de la enfermedad etc. Ha sido invitado en muchas ocasiones a dar conferencias de carácter humanístico, pero es este el primer libro paramédico que publica con anécdotas, recuerdos y reflexiones de su vida profesional. Se ha intentado evitar tecnicismos médicos, para que la lectura sea comprensible para el público en general.
